As a Sales Engineer Associate, you will work closely with Sales Engineers and learn to identify, design, and implement solutions that meet customer needs.

You will follow a comprehensive training program to become proficient in our products, markets, applications, and consultative selling techniques.

Throughout the program, you'll gain valuable first-hand job experience. Selected candidates will train in Cincinnati, OH;

Dallas, TX or Orlando, FL and must be willing to relocate after 6-12 months, upon successful completion of training.

About the Role :

As a Technical Sales Engineer Associate at Contech Engineered Solutions, your responsibilities will include :

Training Program : Follow and adhere to the Sales Engineer Associate training program, prepare for a future role as a Sales Engineer or Product Consultant.

Attend classroom training, observe experienced Sales Engineers / Product Consultants, create projects and presentations, and take assessments to confirm your progress.

• Field Experience : Travel to different areas, including manufacturing plants, field installation sites, and Contech offices to gain a well-rounded perspective in marketing, sales, customer service, credit, and manufacturing.
• Sales Process : Observe the sales process by traveling with Sales Engineers and Product Consultants, attending sales calls, presentations, promotions, trade shows, and installations.
• Sales Practice : Adhere to established sales processes and put your sales skills to the test by calling on both existing and new accounts.
• Continuous Learning : Stay current by participating in educational opportunities, reading sales and marketing publications and product sheets, watching product webinars, building networks, and participating in sales and marketing promotions.
• Progress Evaluations : Attend periodic evaluations to track your development and growth.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Civil or Environmental focus strongly preferred. Other related engineering degrees may be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, CRM software, and basic CAD.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time within assigned territory.
• Willingness to relocate within the region upon the successful completion of the training program.
