This role is part of the Inflight Training team within the Inflight Division. The Senior Manager, Inflight Training Operations will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering all Inflight training programs for Flight Attendants and Inflight Management.

Lead the execution of Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Continuing Qualification (CQ), and supplemental inflight training programs.

Use performance data to define strategic goals, establish key metrics, and drive continuous improvement.

Serve as the primary liaison with the FAA for training compliance and delivery as well as equipment approvals.

Oversee hiring, onboarding, development, promotion, and separation of instructor staff including permanent managers and special assignment Flight Attendants.

Evaluate training program quality and recommend improvements to Inflight Program Development.

Oversee the FS Training Mentor Program in compliance with FAA standards.

Collaborate with internal partners to lead workforce forecasting and scheduling.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Operations, Program Development, external vendors) to support business objectives.

Act as a liaison with APFA and FAA on training delivery and compliance matters and adherence to the collective bargaining agreement.

Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience / training

7 years of experience in the airline industry or in a management role

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Previous airline experience

Experience working with Flight Service department

Knowledge of APFA work rules

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong coaching and counseling abilities

Effective collaboration across departments (HR, Flight, Customer Service, Inflight Bases, Crew Resources)

Proven ability to lead and engage large teams

Inspirational leadership and motivational skills
