Virtually NO TRAVEL! Work onsite in the Plano, TX area as an Automation and Controls Engineer! In this position, you will be responsible for the development, installation and troubleshooting of Control System Architectures, PLC programs (Allen-Bradley), HMI programming, drives, SCADA systems, control panels and instrumentation.

You will design and implement a variety of fiber, wired and wireless systems using industrial protocols (Ethernet / IP, etc.). This position will involve programming and troubleshooting in an industrial environment.

You will support the maintenance team with troubleshooting and problem resolution. You will be responsible for the specification and installation of new plant automation equipment.

You will lead electrical projects including new, replacement and repair of equipment. Your highest priority will be to enforce safe work practices and design safety into all of your systems. You must maintain good working relationships with all of your fellow employees as well as vendors and contract support staff.
