Job description

The IU Health Cancer Radiation Center at Indiana University Health has an opening for a Medical Physicist position in Bloomington, Indiana. This is a full-time position and will cover clinics in Bloomington and surrounding communities. Join a collaborative and supportive team providing excellence in treatment to cancer patients with the latest cancer fighting technologies and leading cancer specialists.

Job Details :

  • Provide therapeutic radiation to outpatient cancer patients
  • The successful candidate is expected to perform clinical service, participate in quality improvement & research,  participate in the teaching of students, and demonstrate a commitment to diversity and underrepresented or minority groups.
  • Schedule Monday-Friday 8 am- 4 : 30 pm

Job Requirements :

  • Requires a Masters or PhD in medical physics.
  • Must be board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or a board eligible resident in / or graduating from CAMPEP accredited Radiation Oncology residency programs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
