Particularly interested in FAC-C, DAWIA, GS-1102 Contract Specialist - Essential Functions Overview : The Contract Specialist is responsible for overseeing procurement processes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and managing contract administration. Core Responsibilities (Applicable to all levels) :

• Prepare solicitation documents and manage the procurement process.
• Receive, record, and review offers and modifications.
• Conduct cost / price analysis, participate in negotiations, and document fair and reasonable pricing.
• Maintain official contract files, ensuring compliance with federal and GSA procurement regulations.
• Process contractor invoices, resolve payment discrepancies, and perform closeout actions.
• Manage the placement and administration of both simplified acquisitions and formal contracts.
• Handle high-dollar transactions and maintain records in accordance with regulatory standards.
