Maintenance Technician II

Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Houston, TX

Shift Time: 3pm - 1am (Night Shift) - Preferred**

OR

Shift Time: 5am - 3:30pm (Day Shift)

Shift Time: Flexible candidates - some weekends, weekdays, nights, occasional shift coverage, shift movement, etc.

1) Tech I: Pay $24-27/hr

mechanical aptitude, previous experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, CNC, pneumatics, hand tools, etc would be applicable

2) Tech II: Pay $27-33/hr

-must have maintenance experience, machinery, in plants/manufacturing setting equipment, etc would be applicable

Interviews: Onsite

- PPE for interviews

- Safety Glasses, Hard Hat, Casual Attire/No Shorts or Sneakers, Steel Toe Boots

Must Haves: Attendance, Proficient with computer and software systems (computer savvy), Flexible Work Schedule (OT on occasion)

Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, CNC machine troubleshooting and maintenance, Comfortable working at heights between 80 - 100+ ft

Job Purpose:

Maintains and repairs all equipment and premises according to the maintenance plan to ensure the continuity of production in the manufacturing center.

Key interactions:

Internally: Regular and functional internal relationships with several services: production or offshore logistic base, store.

Main accountabilities:

• Ensures the preventive maintenance and repair of plants and equipment according to the plan within maintenance and HSES procedures.
• Finds faults and identifies the best methods for rectification (direct repair or escalation) in a timely manner.
• Keeps records of maintenance operations, making reports, and proposing procedures improvement.
• Uses and maintains correct tooling and equipment and reports damages.

Job scope:

• One discipline (fitter in mechanical and / or instrumentation, or electrician)
• Technical referent in a specific discipline
• Technical analysis and problem solving for preventive and curative maintenance
• Works on specification for a new equipment
• Autonomously proposes methods based on precise objectives
• All troubleshooting

Typical Profile/ Must have:

• Professional education in the discipline.
• More than 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Legal certification for electrical work.
