Director, Product Leader

IDC is seeking an experienced and visionary Director, Product Leader to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our product portfolio serving technology buyersincluding CIOs, enterprise architects, procurement, and strategic technology planning teams. This is a senior-level role within the Product organization responsible for deeply understanding the evolving needs of enterprise technology decision-makers and translating those needs into high-impact, research and AI-driven products that deliver tangible business value.

This individual will lead cross-functional initiatives to develop solutions that help technology buyers make faster, more informed, and more confident decisions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience building successful digital products for this audience, grounded in a deep understanding of their day-to-day responsibilities, workflows, and pain points.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and strategy for IDC's solutions targeted at technology buying centers.
• Conduct ongoing customer research and validation.
• Partner closely with research, data, and go-to-market teams.
• Translate customer pain points into intuitive digital workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, and data science teams.
• Monitor usage, satisfaction, and business impact metrics.
• Serve as an internal thought leader on technology buyer personas.
• Stay ahead of trends in enterprise tech buying behaviors.
• Support specific strategic sales engagements.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $250,000 and $280,000 USD and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
