Job Summary
Under the guidance of the Director / Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO) and according to established policy and procedures, plans and manages multiple assigned IT projects.
Performs advanced secretarial duties pertinent to TGH operations and a wide variety of specialized administrative duties.
Performs administrative details including correspondence, research and administrative referrals. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital Under direct supervision of members of the IT Project Management Office, coordinates / facilitates project / program procedures and supports project details through to completion.
Serves as liaison to IT PMO team on special projects as assigned. Responsibility for facilitation of all aspects of the project over its entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).
Must be familiar with project scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or closely related field, with five years experience in project facilitation.
