Neurosurgery Trauma / Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP)

This facility is seeking a Neurosurgery Trauma / Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity :

• October 2024 - Ongoing
• Level II Trauma Center
• Required Procedures : Low / moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, Intravenous access / Intravenous insertion-peripheral line, fracture and dislocation reductions (minimal / moderate displacement). High risk procedures : tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion / defibrillation, paracentesis, chest tubes, central and arterial line placement.
• California State Medical License
• Credentialing Timeframe : 30 to 60 days

Facility Location

Redding is a city located off Interstate 5 and between the Canadian and Mexican borders. The Sacramento River also goes through this city. During the 1950’s there was a great expansion of the lumber industry and two major dams in the Redding area now known as, the “Whiskeytown Dam” and the “Keswick Dam”, were built.
