Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time Briefing, Research, and Writing Attorney in Corpus Christi, TX. The role focuses on legal research, writing, and litigation support, requiring over three years of civil litigation experience. Judicial clerkship experience in appellate or federal court is strongly preferred.

Duties

  • Conduct complex legal research and analysis.
  • Prepare appellate briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.
  • Support litigation in state and federal cases.

Requirements

  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Experience drafting and arguing contested legal motions.
  • Interest in researching complex legal issues.
  • Law Review experience preferred.
  • Mock trial or Moot Court experience helpful.
  • Must be licensed to practice in Texas.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

    • Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

  • Strong analytical and writing abilities.
