About The Position

Job Title : CVOR Tech

Profession : Surgical Services

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : Must have valid license prior to start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted.

Certifications : BCLS and NBSTSAS required

Must-Have : Required to scrub and float to General OR.

Description :

First-time travelers are accepted.

Candidates must be comfortable floating to general cases.

The unit performs all surgical specialties except for transplant in a 13-room operating room.

Special equipment includes 2 Xi DaVinci Robots.

The unit has an ongoing need for skilled CVOR Techs.

Candidates are expected to have experience with various surgical procedures, including but not limited to cardiac, thoracic, and general surgery.

Knowledge of aseptic technique and care of scopes and fiber optic equipment is necessary.

Additional skills include endoscopic procedures, laparoscopic procedures, and the ability to handle various surgical instruments.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in handling surgical equipment and safety protocols.

Support services include IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Travelers may float within the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals.

Candidates should be prepared to work required holidays as specified.

All personnel must comply with required health and safety protocols.
