Starpath
Starpath Robotics is developing a full stack solution for commercial scale rocket propellant production on the Moon and Mars. We are building one of the key enabling technologies that will make Humans a multi-planet species.
If high ownership, fast pace, working with hardware, and solving challenging problems sounds like a dream come true, come join the team!
Lead Electrical Engineer
In this role, you will lead a team responsible for the design, manufacture, and test of all electronic devices across Starpath's product line. You'll conduct high level trades to determine specifications, often driving down cost by order(s) of magnitude relative to the state of the art.
Responsibilities
- Prototype PCBAs for motion control, power management, and radio communication
- Define & justify system requirements, conduct trade space analysis, and document decisions
- Design, manufacture, assemble, and test prototype hardware on rapid iteration timelines
- Interface with adjacent teams to integrate hardware into corresponding mechanical subsystems, with an emphasis on ease of manufacturing and meeting frequent system integration points
- Determine qualification and acceptance testing criteria with common published testing standards (ie. NASA SMC-S-016) in mind
