As a Mold Mitigation Technician at ABLEMKR, you will play a crucial role in identifying and remediating mold-related issues for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and assess mold damage in residential and commercial properties
- Develop and implement mold remediation plans and strategies
- Remove and dispose of mold-contaminated materials, following safety protocols
- Clean and sanitize affected areas using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Apply antimicrobial treatments to prevent future mold growth
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and electricians, as needed for mold mitigation
- Document work activities and complete required paperwork
Requirements
- IICRC Certification preferred
- Prior experience in mold mitigation or a related field
- Knowledge of mold identification, assessment, and remediation techniques
- Familiarity with industry guidelines and regulations for mold mitigation
- Ability to effectively use mold testing equipment and tools
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in enclosed spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
