Operations Engineer / Level 2
Job Description
This position will provide industrial engineering support to the operations team through capacity modeling, standards development, factory performance measurement and visualization, and improvement projects.
This position also includes Industrial Engineering projects such as simulation modeling, factory layouts, facility expansion, MES development, Lean Six Sigma, and facilitating continuous improvement activities.
Position will report directly to the site Operations Engineering Lead.
Desired skills
- Experience with data analysis including data manipulation, reporting, and visualization in support of business operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Industrial Engineering knowledge including capacity analysis, equipment utilization analysis, and touch labor performance analysis
- Experience with Discrete Event Simulation (Simio preferred)
- Trained in Lean Six Sigma tools and practices and experience using statistical analysis
- Experience with SAP and Apriso
- Experience with SAP HANA, MS SQL, MySQL, or related database systems
- Experience with Tableau, Python, JIRA, and Confluence
- Experience in developing complex analytical products and reporting from raw data through final visualization
- Ability to find and understand connections in data through independent exploration
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments independently
- Proficiency in data visualization tools
- Strong communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with data
