Job Details
As a Licensed Professional Engineer, you will :
- Design, analyze, and check complex bridge structures
- Lead structural design and detailing of bridge components with some guidance from Project Managers and Senior Engineers
- Take charge of developing design reports, investigations, contract plans, project specifications, and cost estimates
- Participate in construction project oversight (reviewing RFIs, shop drawings, conducting site visits, etc.)
- Assist Project Managers and guide / supervise entry-level engineers
- Support proposal development
- Review construction specifications and special provisions
- Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, contractors, fabricators, etc. as needed
- Produce project-related correspondence
You should have :
- BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, MS is a plus
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer in one or more states
- Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
- Ability to delegate tasks and supervise entry-level engineers
- Skills to produce internal and external project correspondence
