Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist / Physician to work locum shifts in Eureka, California (CA). Starting in as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology role :

• EMR : Cerner
• Expected patient encounters per day : 5-8
• Average deliveries for hospitalists : 1-4
• Typical cases / procedures : Triage, deliveries, emergent GYN
• NICU Level : II
• Total Hospital Deliveries (annually) : 673
• Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg) : 56
• Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly) : 1
• Backup available to the Hospitalists : Yes; employed / community providers
• 8 exam rooms
• Avg Hospital GYN surgeries per week : 2.5
• Low Risk Pregnancy 60%
• High Risk Pregnancy 40%
• C-Section : 20%
