- Assist in drafting and enforcement of policies and procedures related to compliance with domestic and international laws, regulations, and legal standards.
- Regularly advise on leave management, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, FCRA, Title VII, ADEA, USERRA, NLRA, and other labor and employment legal obligations.
- Provide legal guidance and support on pension, 401(k), medical benefit plans (ERISA), and other compensation & benefits matters.
- Advise on workers compensations matters.
- Represent clients in mediations with employees and negotiate settlement agreements, review involuntary terminations, and draft separation packages.
- Prepare position statements and responses to inquiries, audits, and investigations of clients by federal (EEOC, DOL, OSHA), state, and local agencies including.
- Research and advise on emerging legislative and regulatory changes affecting employment and labor obligations. Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
