Overview

A State of California health care agency is seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server Database Developer to support enterprise health care applications. The role focuses on database design, development, and maintenance for large-scale systems that deliver health care services across state institutions.

Required Experience & Education

Minimum 5 years of IT experience within the last 7 years, applying analytical processes on IT projects.

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering (additional experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis).

Mandatory Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in the following areas :

• Designing and implementing data extracts using SSIS and Azure Data Factory .
• Developing reports using SSRS and Power BI .
• Writing and optimizing T-SQL (queries, stored procedures), performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Full SDLC experience for database and reporting solutions.
• Business Intelligence tools such as Visual Studio BI or Power BI.
• Data warehouse concepts and architecture.
• Producing requirements, systems architecture / interfaces, data models, configuration docs, and procedural manuals.
