Position Purpose :
The Marketing Coordinator will manage the daily marketing responsibilities for continued growth of TEL Brand through support of marketing initiatives both nationally and locally.
The Marketing Coordinator is a critical function for business growth to reach new and prospective customers. Position Responsibilities :
- Continuously learn, share, and implement improvements in all processes and responsibilities as needed to enhance effectiveness of providing world class service and support.
- Manage social media and events calendars, providing marketing collateral organization.
- Coordinates with 3rd party services and material suppliers to ensure tasks are completed on-time.
- Employs total project management and will use design skills to review, update, and create new sales collateral (i.e. sales sheets, presentations, flyers, posts, etc.).
- Maintains contact lists, workflows, and intake forms using knowledge of HubSpot system.
- Creates and executes fresh engaging social media content, blog updates, and assist with reporting.
- Supports marketing system development for digital asset creation, email campaign development, and other inbound / outbound marketing initiatives as needed.
- Coordinates with sales teams to gather new lead lists and coordinate the vetting policy for import, processing, and usage.
- Manage the organization of digital assets in the CMS system(s) for webpages, blogs, and other linked online content (i.
e. uploading, auditing, and applying asset meta information, alt tags, etc.).
- Research and implement ongoing website SEO improvements, and the efforts involved in quarterly reviews.
- Coordinates event meetings with sales, human resources, and corporate teams to plan sales, local, and company-specific events.
- Assists with collateral development and support for local and national TEL sales events, such as clerical and resource preparations, taking photos during events, and other on-site support.
- Occasionally travel to specific locations for events or customer / vendor locations to provide marketing media and support to sales teams.
- Assist with field video and photography with new content development by periodically supporting photography and video efforts to capture / record TEL vehicles, equipment, customers, and personnel.
- Operate and care for company owned DSLR camera, as well as other cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during video filming and photography.
- Essential video filming and post-production video development support, to include assisting with video shoots, reviewing video files, laying out base video tracks for lengthy videos, and assisting with the video development process.
- Frequent photo processing and graphic design work. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Ability to exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
- Strong communication skills, including communicating in a friendly and empathetic manner.
- Critical thinker and ability to problem solve.
- Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills a plus.
- Hubspot marketing automation system knowledge with ability to adapt to platforms like Salesforce.
- Knowledge of marketing best practices for social media.
- Knowledge of DSLR camera equipment for basic photography and video.
- Good understanding of basic cinematography and photography best practices, to include filming in multiple environments.
- Willingness to learn TEL video development processes including lighting, audio equipment, and safety procedures.
- Enjoys taking responsibility for a project from the start of the planning phase and seeing it through to completion.
- Can work effectively as part of a team with integrity, honesty, and hard work.
- Strong and positive work ethic, can-do attitude, and be a self-driver.
- Willingness to learn new processes and skills.
- Team-oriented and able to take direction and effectively manage with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to gain and maintain a Class-B CDL for driving a truck in and out of tradeshow exhibit floors, photo shoots, etc. Education and Experience :
- BA / BS in marketing, business, or related field required.
- 4+ years of experience working in marketing or marketing support roles.
- Corporate Social Media management and company blog experience required.
- Some training or experience with photography and video equipment.
- Experience using Hubspot CRM and marketing inbound / outbound purposes.
- WordPress and Hubspot CMS systems experience and understanding of website SEO best practices.
- Some project management experience required.
- Experience with computer software’s including Adobe Create Cloud, with some combination of experience in either Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or Acrobat.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office : Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and limited Excel. Preferred, but not required :
- Event planning or event support experience.
- Salesforce experience preferred, but not required.
- Adobe Premier Pro or Lightroom software experience is preferred but not required Work Environment :
