Environment, Health and Safety Manager
Environmental, Health & Safety Solutions, Inc. (EHSS) currently have an opportunity to expand our team of Safety Professionals.
We are looking to support our Client / Partner with a full-time Safety Manger / Leader who is seeking a personal and professional challenge and wants to grow within our company.
This position in located in Rossford, OH. Potential candidates must be located in the surrounding region or willing to relocate to the area.
Day to day support entails travel to Rossford, OH, as well as offices and job locations in and around OH and other surrounding states.
Flexibility to travel anytime, any place, anywhere, and under short notice is required to fully support our team.

EHSS’s team of safety professionals who represent & serve our partners focus on driving and / or establishing our clients safety vision & culture, while providing leadership & direction to support a workplace that encourages observation, advising, coaching & corrective actions.
We deliver quality & timely subject matter expertise & business support to ensure that a safe, sustainable, efficient, & legally compliant work environment is established & maintained
at all times.
Position Requirements :
- 5-10 Minimum years’ Construction Field Safety experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety with a focus on Commercial Construction
- Able to review and understand architectural plans / drawings, confer with engineers & PM’s, and provide guidance on best practices.
- A general knowledge of EHS standards and regulations (EPA, OSHA, CFR, NFPA, etc.) and basic Industrial hygiene techniques and principles.
- Experience in Manufacturing & Construction desirable
- Prefer professional to have OSHA 500 or 501
- Any additional certifications are a plus
- Assist with the development and execution of programs, policies, and procedures that address occupational injury and illness prevention, risk management, compliance assurance, and environmental protection based on governing regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.
best practice standards (ANSI, NFPA, ACGIH, etc.), data analysis and trend tracking.
- Provide EHS support to stakeholders including, but not limited to, incident investigations, ergonomic assessments, and interpretation of EHS regulations.
- Conduct EHS assessments of the physical environment and EHS programs and processes to identify gaps and provide corrective / preventive action recommendations.
- Coordinate waste management (non-hazardous, hazardous (RCRA), universal, etc.) activities including on-site waste accumulation and storage, inspections, training, recordkeeping / reporting, shipping, and disposal with licensed and reputable waste management vendors in accordance with all local, state and federal rules and regulations.
- A working knowledge of various computer software and word processing programs such as spreadsheets and databases to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office
This position is a Safety Professional position with one of our Clients, Full-Time in the Toledo, OH area. MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE IF NOT IN AREA.
