Position Summary

Busek is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee key accounting functions, financial reporting, payroll, and the transition from Deltek to Epicor. This role requires expertise in general accounting principles, financial analysis, and ERP system implementation to support our growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Reconciliation

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) as necessary.
• Produce accurate and error-free financial reports.
• Review financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger (GL) accounts to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Ensure major expenses are coded correctly to projects or overhead.
• Maintain the company's depreciation schedule and prepare related journal entries.
• Reconcile payroll-related GL journal entries monthly for accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Review all monthly transactions, including journal entries and bank reconciliations, and alert the CFO to any discrepancies.
• Create job numbers in Deltek for new projects and proposals.
