Interop Solution Lead / Tech Lead

Enterprise Federal Healthcare System Interoperability Objectives

Responsibilities include overseeing delivery of enterprise Federal healthcare system interoperability objectives including Health Information Exchanges, external clinical data synchronization services, public health reporting, and myriad other data sharing and exchange initiatives. Oversight and guidance for multiple teams across multiple Oracle organizations are required. Teams include consultants, developers, engineers, operations, support, contracting, operational excellence, communications, reporting, etc. Interaction with, communication, and mutual understanding with team members at all levels of the org chart from developer to senior executive are necessary. This role requires a motivated self-starter who can operate with extreme clarity and / or when the requirements are ambiguous. A strong understanding of schedule, risk, and issue management is required. Hands-on interaction with software specifications, designs, and data mapping may be required. Translating business requests into functional and technical requirements and distilling complex activities into simple forms of written, visual, and verbal communication for all levels of stakeholders including internal and external end users are also required.

Top skills or competencies include project management (including SDLC & PMLC), issue and risk management, business analysis, functional requirements development, data modeling, mapping and / or analysis, interface development, configuration or management, software development, technical documentation, database queries, and application architecture and design.

Education, certification, or experience required includes a bachelor's degree in Information Systems / Technology or equivalent, experience in enterprise software deployment, healthcare IS / IT role, and experience with Millennium applications and data model.

Desired experience includes regulatory experience, technical requirements development experience, contract or requirements management experience, Millennium 'core' build experience, Millennium interface development, Millennium configuration experience with build tools, HL7 interface and API experience, cloud software experience, and HealtheIntent population health experience.
