GIRL'S GYMNASTIC COACH

CLOSING DATE : Open until Filled

PAY RATE : $12.78 per hour

SCHEDULE : Part Time : 3 : 00 pm - 6 : 45 pm weekdays and varied schedule on Saturday morning (to be discussed during the interview).

DEPARTMENT : Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

Use basic gymnastic form, flexibility and conditioning skills to teach girls, age 5 to adolescent, gymnastics.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Personal gymnastic experience with a strong knowledge of girl's gymnastics is preferred.

Great customer service skills.

Friendly personality and demeanor.

Ability to work well with all types of youth.

Physically strong to safely spot adolescent youth in gymnastics

Able to help move heavy equipment.

Knowledge of gymnastics techniques and safety procedures.

Perform warm-up routines.

Create and implement lesson plan.

Provide feedback and encouragement to students.

Communicate with parents about student progress and behavior.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with enthusiasm for teaching girls through motivation and role modeling.
