Job descriptionWork experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures Familiarity with finance regulations Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Associate degree or certificate in accounting (preferred) Starting Pay : $47K$55K / year DOE Paid Every Friday! Direct Deposit and / or Paycards Available Paid Holidays & PTO (based on accrued hour requirements) Medical Coverage Access to affordable and comprehensive group medical coverage
Accounting Assistant
Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounting and bookkeeping? A local manufacturer is seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant to support their finance team. This position involves reconciling invoices, processing expense reports, maintaining financial records, and supporting audits and government filings. If you're organized, adaptable, and ready to work in a collaborative environment, this could be the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Process expense reimbursement forms
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
- Prepare government filings and assist in audits
- Maintain report of goods received not invoiced
- Assist with monitoring actuals to budgeted financial records
- Monitor and reconcile inventory reports to financial records
