Who You Are :

The IT Support Specialistis responsible for providing oversight and support of all business systems that drive our daily business operations. Tasks will include tracking, troubleshooting, and resolving end-user computer issues, with a primary emphasis on end user technical support (help desk) and training on how to use supported technologies. Business systems include Telephone / Voicemail, O365, Teams, mobile devices, Dynamics CRM, Smartsheet, and custom developed Microsoft SQL / .NET web applications. This position also provides secondary support for IT network systems, including Azure, servers, switches, access points, Internet circuits, and backup / recovery systems.

What You'll Do

  • Provide first class support for high energy consulting, sales and executive teams
  • Provide 24x7 end user technical support for all business systems
  • Provision new equipment, onboard new users and provide welcome training for new hires on all business systems used to support daily business operations
  • Perform account provisioning and permissions assignments
  • Act as the primary contact for IT-related issues, resolving hardware, software, and network problems
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and security settings across multiple platforms, Azure Portal and several 365 admin centers (Entra, Intune, Dynamics, Exchange, Sharepoint)
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, business applications, and system updates
  • Manage IT equipment lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning
  • Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support and training users, as needed
  • Assist and provide backup coverage for the monitoring of performance and uptime on all IT network systems
  • Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new systems and upgrades to existing systems using standard Project Management methods / processes
  • Regular review of operational objectives (studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats) to ensure business systems and technical support are adequate
  • Recommends new controls by identifying problems and updating business systems, processes, and documentation when needed
  • Maintains user or client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential, adhering to internal policy and industry best practices on data privacy and security
  • Espouses PRP's Values and contributes to team effort by achieving desired results
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other peripheral equipment as required.
  • Perform basic break fix tasks
  • Support security teams on incident response and use of patching and anti-malware tools
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues both wired / wireless
  • Work in our Help Desk ticketing system
  • Document troubleshooting steps & procedures so others can leverage knowledge
  • Maintain inventory of local assets
  • Educate staff on IT security best practices relevant to their operating system.
  • Participate in IT projects including rollouts of new applications, upgrades to existing systems, and transitions to new technologies
  • Work with other IT team members to plan and execute these projects effectively

Qualifications

What You Need :

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in desktop / help desk support, preferably in a cloud-first environment.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Office 365 environments.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Intune, and basic Azure services.
  • Experience with Azure Portal - VM creation / support, user provisioning, IAM management
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and Office 365 Administration
  • Familiar with basic security & privacy principles (MFA, IAM / Access Control, Asset Management, phishing, data protection, encryption)
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and administration
  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Azure Fundamentals.
  • Experience with Intune admin center and Exchange admin center.

  • The salary range for this position is : $69,000-$95,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, education, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
