As a Security Officer - Morning - Driving in Waukegan, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs ariseResponsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location, including access control duties.Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain security-related protocols.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for healthcare environments.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and report any irregularities.Assist visitors, staff, and patients with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and maintenance needs as observed during patrols or access control duties.Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to support emergency response activities when appropriate.What We're Looking For :
