Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend

Hours per Week : 36

Patient Ratio : 1 : 6, supported by 2 unit techs

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1950–$2090

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license

At least 1 year of recent Telemetry or Cardiac / Pulmonary nursing experience

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Monitor and assess cardiac and pulmonary patients in a busy telemetry unit

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

Collaborate with physicians, unit techs, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes

Educate patients and families on care plans and health management

Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
