Manager, Mechanical Engineering
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead a talented team in the development, production, and sustainment of ground-based antennas, mobile antennas, and aerospace battery and charger product lines. This role requires technical leadership, hands-on design expertise, and active participation across proposals, analysis, testing, and production while mentoring and managing an experienced engineering team.

Responsibilities :
Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, setting priorities and managing daily operationsDetermine staffing requirements and ensure appropriate coverage for all projectsGuide teams through requirements definition, project planning, design reviews, and production releasesCollaborate with business development, proposals, design, test, manufacturing, quality, and customer service teamsSupport all aspects of product lines, including concept generation, material selection, trade studies, design optimization, and mechanical analysisIdentify material and capital acquisition needs and manage procurementImplement new systems and processes for continuous improvement and efficiencyEnsure compliance with department standards, policies, and technical documentationQualifications :
Bachelor s Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 7+ years of experience; or 13+ years of experience without a degreeProven experience mentoring and managing engineersProficiency in 3D CAD tools (PTC Creo and / or Solidworks preferred)Experience with PLM software (Windchill preferred)Strong 3D visualization, drafting skills, and knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and GD&TExperience with structural analysis and FEA (Ansys experience preferred)Design for Manufacturing, machining, and fabrication experience is a plusProficiency in MS Office productsAbility to obtain security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)Compensation & Benefits :
