Spanish Bilingual Operations Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Spanish Bilingual Operations Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our client's small distribution center near Aurora, Illinois. Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations of the Aurora distribution center, ensuring efficient workflows and productivity.
- Lead and mentor a team of customer service representatives, managers, and warehouse staff, while supporting team expansion efforts.
- Coordinate inbound deliveries from the production facility and manage outbound shipments to nationwide customers.
- Implement and monitor inventory management practices to guarantee accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of products.
- Develop and execute process improvements to enhance safety, cost-effectiveness, and operational performance.
- Act as a liaison between warehouse staff, customer service teams, and senior leadership to foster clear communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements across all operations.
- Analyze and report key performance metrics related to shipping, inventory, and overall productivity.
- Support hiring, training, and development initiatives to build a motivated and efficient workforce.
- Resolve operational challenges and customer issues using strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, warehouse management, or a similar leadership role.Fluent in the Spanish language.Proven ability to lead, develop, and supervise teams in a fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of manufacturing, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management practices.Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a startup-like environment.Proficiency in warehouse management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other operational tools.Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.Forklift operation certification or similar warehouse-related qualifications are a plus.
