Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift

Overview

Velosity Brooklyn Park is searching for a Quality Inspector to support our manufacturing facility in Brooklyn Park, MN on our 3rd shift. The Quality Inspector is responsible for executing quality plans, sampling plans, and control plans for incoming, in process, and final inspection requirements. Indicate inspection status, maintain product traceability and nonconforming material control, and support other Quality System activities as assigned. When required, the position will initiate material hold, nonconformance investigation, and execute approved material dispositions. This is an on-site position.

Hours of shift : Sunday-Thursday, 11 : 00pm-7 : 00am. The typical pay range for this role : $23.00 - $27.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for a 5% quarterly bonus target.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range : $23.00 / hr - $27.00 / hr

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.

Work Environment

This is a non-smoking, professional manufacturing shop with normal lighting and climate control. This position may require movement throughout the shop and office and may be exposed to airborne contaminants and chemical odors typical of an injection molding / precision machining shop.

Protective Clothing Required

Eye and ear protection are required in certain locations. Closed-toed / shoes with slip resistance are required in certain locations.
