Responsibilities
- Entry level position in the Transportation Engineer Career Program. May be responsible for traffic-related functions including meeting project goals, developing alternatives, attending public meetings, evaluating design criteria against project constraints, performing constructability reviews, reviewing and designing roadway plans, performing construction inspection for proposed roadway improvement projects, providing traffic / travel demand information, and conducting or reviewing traffic engineering analysis.
Education and Experience
Education : Possession of a bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, transportation or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university.Experience : None required.Note : Persons currently registered as Professional Engineers in Maryland, or in a state with comparable requirements, are considered to have met the education requirements.Application Requirements
