VDI Engineer
- Master Image Lifecycle Management
- Familiar with administrating, updating, and optimizing Windows 10 / 11 Enterprise for a virtual desktop deployment
- Required experience / skillset includes Windows updates, application updates, registry changes, batch / PowerShell script management is a plus
- Thorough understanding of the O365 application suite
- Understanding of enterprise management / administration tools, such as Active Directory, group policy objects, MECM, psexec / wmic
- Vulnerability Remediation
- Familiar with industry standard security baselines and recommendations (such as CIS, NIST, etc.) and experience implementing and maintaining their recommendations
- Ticket Queue
- Familiar with ticketing systems, incidents / requests, customer service experience and concepts
- Explain steps clearly and in a way anyone could understand
- VMware Horizon Administrator Backup
- Familiar with the Horizon stack connection server, DEM, UAG, AppVolumes, Horizon Client, their configurations, official documentation and KB’s, and where to find such information
- Monitoring tool experience, such as vROPS / vRLI
- Experienced in obtaining support directly from VMware when necessary.
