About the Role
The VP, Revenue is a senior leadership role in our mid‑market media business unit. You will drive revenue growth, optimize commercial performance, and align new business, marketing, and revenue initiatives. As a core member of the leadership team, you will shape strategy, set goals, oversee pipeline health, and innovate revenue channels. You will collaborate with executive leadership on go‑to‑market approaches, pricing, profitability decisions, and scalable capabilities.
Responsibilities
Commercial & Strategic Leadership
- Lead business direction, revenue strategy, and goal setting in partnership with agency and executive teams.
- Drive oversight of all revenue activities, recommending growth priorities, pipeline health, and expansion opportunities.
- Own forecasting, reporting, and analysis for all revenue channels; adjust strategies and partner on monthly financial reviews.
- Develop and innovate new revenue sources and channels (e.g., partnerships, vendor lists, pitch consultants).
- Align planning and execution across new business, marketing, and revenue operations functions.
- Direct service and capability development based on market trends and agency performance.
- Lead key pricing negotiations, provide profitability guidance, and drive client pricing decisions.
Business Development & Marketing
Oversee new business process with sellers : pitch qualification, resource coordination, case library, RFP responses, and involvement in strategic pitches.Confirm staffing, pricing, and planning for new account wins.Collaborate with leaders to ensure accurate new client resourcing and pipeline tracking.Oversee marketing alignment with revenue objectives, brand positioning, and ICP strategy.Set marketing goals and KPIs, ensuring initiatives drive measurable revenue impact.Maintain a best‑in‑class enablement suite : pitch decks, sales tools, product demos, and strategic documentation.Client Growth & Retention
Oversee and coach on renewals, cross‑sells, and pricing strategies for existing clients.Direct high‑stakes renewal and procurement conversations.Build a culture of revenue contribution and commercial acumen within the accounts team.Proactively manage and track revenue opportunities, forecasts, and client context.Team Leadership & Operations
Directly manage leaders in marketing and new business.Coach and develop direct reports, oversee PRs, and define clarity in roles, hiring, and bandwidth needs.Strategically allocate resources across programs impacting revenue growth and team efficiency.Regularly review contracts with high attention to detail.Drive continuous improvement in processes, technology, and reporting across the revenue cycle.About You
Qualifications
10+ years in revenue‑focused leadership roles (business development, marketing, sales operations, revenue operations) in agency or media environments.Experience setting business strategy, leading forecasting, and managing P&L for high‑growth commercial businesses.Proven track record building high‑performing teams in marketing, sales, or revenue operations.Demonstrated ability to innovate new revenue channels, own complex negotiations, and influence executive decision‑makers.Advanced skills in commercial analytics, revenue reporting, pipeline management, and CRM or revenue operations tooling.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including engagement with C‑suite and board level.What We Offer
