Shipping / Receiving Lead

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well-established distributor in Raleigh who is seeking a hands-on Shipping / Receiving Lead to join their 2nd shift team working 10am-7pm Monday-Friday. This is a contract-hire opportunity leading up to 4 warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities :

• Lead, train, and support a team of 4 associates on the 2nd shift.
• Oversee all shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with safety standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including cherry picker, reach, and sit-down forklifts.
• Handle and prepare HAZMAT shipments (welding gas, propane, compression gas).
• Utilize shipping software such as P21, Freight Edge, and Quick Ship to manage orders and shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers, internal departments, and team members to resolve issues and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored.
• Promote and uphold a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
