General Position Scope :
The Loan Operations Compliance and Efficiency Manager plays a key role in ensuring the operational excellence of the Loan Operations department. Reporting directly to the Director of Loan Operations, this position is responsible for driving operational efficiency, managing internal audits, leading special projects, and supporting process improvements across the department. Acting as a liaison to internal auditors and compliance teams, this role ensures adherence to regulatory standards while supporting commitment to high performance and continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Identifies and recommends improvements to operational processes in collaboration with department managers to enhance overall departmental efficiency.
- Serves as a change agent within Loan Operations by supporting and promoting process and procedural changes.
- Manages all aspects of internal Loan Audit requests including documentation collection, validation, remittance, and follow-up.
- Partners with Internal Audit and Compliance to proactively address audit requirements and resolve any issues.
- Compiles, validates, and reports departmental metrics and scorecards; works with Technology to automate data reporting processes.
- Maintains and track department-wide process improvement initiatives, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic goals.
- Leads the planning and execution of special projects across Loan Operations, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, regulations, and internal policies.
- Provides integration and transition support during bank acquisitions or mergers.
- Manages and oversee issue resolution within the Silverlake core processing system for the Loan Operations team.
- Assist with branch deconversions or bank acquisitions to help meet BankPlus Strategic Plan.
- Maintains expert-level knowledge of bank policies, procedures, products, and regulatory compliance including BSA, Privacy Act, Fair Lending, Regulation E, etc.
- Participates in the Bank's High-Performance Rewards Connections program.
- Promotes referrals to Mortgage and Wealth Management.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Position Requirements :
