Medical Assistant - Oncology

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced oncology team. This role involves providing patient care by recording vital signs, managing patient rooming, and maintaining treatment rooms. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical assisting and oncology, with a keen attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities :

• Record patient vital signs, including height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Ensure exam and treatment rooms are well-stocked and supplies are ordered as needed.
• Room 50-70 patients daily, supporting efficient patient flow.
• Perform manual blood pressure measurements as required.

Work Environment :

This is a full-time position with hours from 8 : 15 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts. The role requires working at different locations throughout the week : Monday and Friday at The Woodlands, TX, and Tuesday to Thursday at Conroe, TX. Employees will receive reimbursement for travel outside assigned clinics when necessary. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conroe, Texas.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
