VTG is looking for a Technical Specialist in Chantilly VA .

What will you do?

The Technical Specialist provides hands-on technical support and expertise across engineering and IT disciplines. Working closely with engineers and technical teams, this role assists in the design, implementation, analysis, and maintenance of hardware, software, systems, networks, or security solutions. The ideal candidate brings broad technical knowledge and may specialize in one or more areas such as IT Security, Data Science or Hardware / Software / Systems Engineering / Networks.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide technical assistance and support to engineering teams across project phases.
• Apply general engineering or technical knowledge to troubleshoot, test, and validate systems and components.
• Contribute to the planning, integration, and deployment of technical solutions.
• Assist with the development, documentation, and refinement of technical processes and system requirements.
• Conduct data analysis, support modeling / simulation, and contribute to system performance evaluations.
• Support hardware, software, system, or network configurations as needed.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies relevant to the mission or project scope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems.
