Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Industrial Engineer or Industrial Engineer . This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Clearfield, UT . The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Aerospace Structures organization.

Essential Functions :

Analyze shop floor data and develop metrics for daily performance management, i.e. daily earns, efficiency, WIP, cost and schedule.

Provide support to the manufacturing floor by working with cross-functional teams to understand frontline problems and implement cost-saving, impactful solutions.

Develop and iterate on detail production build schedules by working closely with Production Operations.

Work with frontline leadership to assess current state and implement cost-saving solutions.

Utilize various Continuous Improvement tools to analyze shop floor practices and processes for opportunities to minimize scrap, reduce cost, increase capacity and optimize schedule.

Basic Qualifications :

This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Industrial Engineer or an Industrial Engineer level.

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Industrial Engineer :

Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the business.

Basic Qualifications for an Industrial Engineer :

Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of Aerospace, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing experience.

Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the business.

Preferred Qualifications :

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 / 4.0 or higher.

Previous internship / co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional / community / extracurricular).

Pay Range :

Associate Industrial Engineer : $58,200 to $87,200.

Industrial Engineer : $70,200 to $105,400.
