Job Overview
Reporting to the Associate Director of Financial Aid Counseling and Advising, and receiving work lead direction from the Assistant Director of Scholarship Programs, the Scholarship Analyst supports the San José State University Scholarship Program by coordinating the administration, implementation, and communication of scholarship processes. This position manages the NexGen scholarship platform, maintains applicant and scholar data, and ensures the timely and accurate processing of awards. The Analyst also provides customer service and operational support to the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office, assisting students, staff, and faculty to ensure a smooth and student-centered scholarship experience.

Classification : Administrative Analyst / Specialist – Non-Exempt
Anticipated Hiring Range : $5,195 / month - $5,736 / month (Step 5 – Step 10)
CSU Salary Range : $4,799 / month - $6,992 / month (Step 1 – Step 20)
