IT Systems Coordinator

Originally founded in 1991 as Harlem RBI, DREAM has grown to annually serve more than 2,500 youth across East Harlem and the South Bronx through a network of seven PreK-12, extended-day, extended-year DREAM Charter Schools and community sports-based youth development programs. DREAM Charter School is seeking an IT Systems Coordinator to support and maintain our organization's core technology infrastructure across multiple K-12 campuses. This exempt, salaried position is responsible for executing and improving technical systems related to device management, user provisioning, workflow automation, and event technology operations. The Coordinator will apply systems analysis techniques, document internal IT workflows, and assist in modifying configurations to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support technical solutions for computer systems, software, and hardware in a K–12 environment;
• Deploy and configure IT assets, including laptops, peripherals, and storage systems;
• Maintain and optimize devices across Mac, Windows, and Chrome OS platforms;
• Administer and manage users and groups in Google Workspace;
• Independently manage event-based A / V technology operations, including real-time troubleshooting;
• Provision new users and devices, including installation and system preparation aligned to standards;
• Execute assigned technology projects in collaboration with senior team members;
• Document, test, and modify Tier 1-level system configurations and IT workflows to improve efficiency and performance;
• Stay current on developments in systems engineering, automation, cloud infrastructure, and school-based IT best practices.
