About The Position

Job Title : CT Tech

License : Valid license required

Certifications : ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), BLS (AHA) required

Must-Have : EPIC preferred

Experience in adult acute care and emergency department required

Experience with pediatric acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric outpatient, level I trauma, and level II trauma preferred

GE equipment experience required

PACS preferred

Description : Variable shift.

Leader calls for interviews to discuss schedule.

Sample rotation :

Week 1 : Monday 2 : 30 PM - 3 : 00 AM; Tuesday 2 : 30 PM - 3 : 00 AM; Saturday 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 30 PM.

Week 2 : Sunday 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 30 PM; Monday 2 : 30 PM - 3 : 00 AM; Wednesday 2 : 30 PM - 3 : 00 AM.

Week 3 : Monday 2 : 30 PM - 3 : 00 AM; Tuesday 2 : 30 PM - 3 : 00 AM; Friday 2 : 30 PM - 3 : 00 AM.

No call requirement.

Weekend requirement every third weekend from 10 : 00 AM - 10 : 30 PM (Friday-Sunday).

Float requirement : none.

Special procedures including multiplanar reconstruction and vascular CTA are preferred.

Must be available for the entire orientation week.

Holiday time off requests are not guaranteed approved.

Scrubs : Navy.

Experience with abdomen and pelvis studies including colorectal studies required.

Experience with chest imaging including vascular chest required.

Head and neck imaging including carotid and trauma head required.

Experience with 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction preferred.

Knowledge of isolation precautions, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, and venipuncture preferred.

Experience with adult acute care and trauma settings preferred.
