Superintendent

We are a well-established heavy civil contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget. Our expertise spans site development, earthwork, utilities, grading, and roadway improvements across the Southeast. We are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team in Raleigh, NC, and lead field operations on civil sitework projects.

Position Overview

The Superintendent will provide leadership, direction, and oversight for crews and subcontractors in the field. This role requires hands-on experience in civil sitework, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to drive safety, quality, and productivity on every project.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily field operations on sitework projects, including earthwork, grading, utilities, and paving.
• Direct crews, subcontractors, and field staff to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain schedules, allocate resources, and resolve issues.
• Track progress, productivity, and costs to support project profitability.
• Train, mentor, and support field personnel to build strong, effective teams.
• Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety and accountability.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
