Job description

The Technology COO organization's primary responsibility is to provide governance and strategy services to Morgan Stanley Technology division. It manages multiyear workforce strategy execution, responsible for budgeting and financial control, supervises product and service portfolios as well as spearheading large, firm-wide transformations. The Technology & Operations Resource Management (TORM) team is part of the Technology Strategy and Governance function within the COO organization. It provides control and advisory services to support the life-cycle management and governance of over 22,000 external consultants across various geographies and IT and Operations departments. The team initiate, execute and actively monitors workforce related transactions and vendor management activities in conjunction with vertical and horizontal stakeholders (Sourcing / Procurement, Department heads, managers, HR, etc.). The team conducts comprehensive governance activities & reviews, maintains data hygiene of primary systems, driving cross divisional process improvements, standardizing the management of the consultant worker population

Tech BU Admin / Contingent Resource Management

Tech BU administrators handle a range of operational tasks to ensure smooth workplace management and support for new hires, equipment, and space utilization.

  • Floor maintenance and onboarding : Responsibilities include managing floor, equipment, signage, confidential bins, and onboarding new hires through HR and Fieldglass systems, including ticket submissions for equipment and account setups.
  • Space and resource management : Admins track space availability such as offices, workstations, hotel seats, and conference rooms using portals like Manhattan, Room Book, or Outlook, and coordinate staff moves and departmental restacks through IMAC tickets and spreadsheets.
  • New hire setup and access : The team assigns seating, equipment, account access, phone numbers, and manages floor access as part of onboarding, supporting both full-time and contingent staff with various reporting tools and ticketing systems.
  • Hardware, software, and audits : Requests for hardware, software, market data, and voice services are managed through multiple channels including ARIBA, EUTAMGRequestNA, and voice tickets; building audits verify employee locations and update space databases accordingly.

What You will do in the role

  • Contingent Resource Management
  • Provide back-up coverage for the Americas timezone after Budapest day end, including tasks such as Immediate Access Deactivation (IMAD), manager changes, cost center changes, and other urgent actions
  • Manage business processes and transactions that support daily operations within the banking Technology and Operations organization.
  • Oversee contingent resource management transactions in collaboration with senior business management stakeholders, enterprise partners (Sourcing, Security, HR, etc.), and various business processes, including vendor management and resource lifecycle activities.
  • Coordinate with management to ensure transactions comply with policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with the Business Management organization to assist with ad hoc queries, reporting, and correspondence.
  • Maintain data integrity across systems of record by addressing data exceptions.
  • Contribute to team efforts to respond to client requirements efficiently.
  • Manage approximately 2,000 consultants from multiple suppliers, providing guidance on workforce strategy goals and controlling services. Requirements
  • What You will bring to the role

  • 2-3 years of experience in multinational or large corporate environment
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis packages
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills : ability to clearly and concisely communicate with internal and external partners cross-divisionally
  • Relationship management skills to build and maintain solid engagement with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter with strong work ethics and ability to work autonomously with attention to details
  • Flexibility towards change, ability to identify and execute process improvement opportunities
  • Good problem-solving skills & ability to translate processes to real life actions
  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Workforce Manager, Business Manager, project management
  • Education : Undergraduate degree in any discipline
