Job Highlights

• Initiate and implement process changes that improve process performance, efficiency and process safety. Ensure that necessary Process Safety Information including P&ID's, operating procedures and interlock matrices are identified and updated accordingly.
• Conduct regular and frequent review of process performance vs expected parameters to identify deviations that affect efficiency and rates.
• Prepare basic process design packages from the initiation and execution of capital projects that support improvements in their respective units.
• Review and maintain the PSM - Management of Change system for the Bushy Park Facility
• Provide technical support to operations and environmental to troubleshoot problems and support regulatory compliance.
• Provide necessary technical training in support of operations regarding process changes and new processes.
• Lead process hazard analysis, incident investigations, and safety studies.
• Support the Plant and HSE Management by regularly (daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly) preparing KPI compilations.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Chemistry (Professional Engineer certification a plus)
• Possess 3 - 5 years of similar industry experience.
• Experience with accident investigation tools (Taproot, process operations, hazard and risk analysis, API facility guidelines, and safe work practices) is preferred.
• Experience in wastewater treatment operations, design, service procurement, and construction.
• Ability effectively work with in teams to address multiple projects / tasks in the areas.
• Knowledge of standard and engineering software tools and programs

The minimum pay for this position is $92,400 and the actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
