Senior Marketing Campaign Manager
The Senior Marketing Campaign Manager oversees and executes campaigns from start to finish to achieve specific business goals - primarily demand generation in Q4 / Q5 for BD. This role is responsible for strategic planning, budget management, cross-channel coordination (digital, social, email, print), performance analysis, and collaboration with internal and external teams.
The Marketing team plays a vital role in supporting Walmart Data Ventures' revenue growth by developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives. This team collaborates across functions to drive business plans, manage vendor relationships, and optimize online marketing efforts. Focused on delivering measurable results, the team leverages data insights and customer information to enhance campaign effectiveness. Responsibilities include :
- Develop a holistic marketing campaigns strategy across multiple channels with the right content mix to deliver against business goals and increase the engagement of our prospect and customer base
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign messaging, branding, and timing are aligned to business initiatives
- Partner with internal Marketing team members to drive cross-team collaboration in email automation and lead scoring best practices to optimize content strategies that align with segmentation, prospect, and customer-centric opportunities
- Drive personalization strategies and enhancements via multi-channel marketing campaign tactics
- Establish, analyze, and report on campaign and program KPIs
- Regularly communicate strategic insights and recommendations to team stakeholders and Marketing leadership
- Build and maintain an inclusive campaign calendar and campaign best practices playbook
- Work with PMM and Creative teams to launch campaigns using internal and external tools
- Partner with Product Marketing, Creative team, Customer Success, Marketing leadership, and other neighboring teams to ensure all touchpoints are on-brand and impactful
Additional responsibilities include :
Working closely with the Director of Marketing Operations and Marketing Creative Director to create and manage a robust campaign strategy, integrated across multiple channels including email, web, events, social media, and paid media.Collaborating cross-functionally with teammates and neighboring teams (Product Marketing, Customer Success, Communications, etc.) to continuously discover and integrate content for campaign ideas and audience building for further prospect and customer personalizationDriving the creation and execution of multiple simultaneous campaigns and projects to address sales and customer needsRemoving barriers and obstacles that impact performance and identifying performance standards. Working with Marketing leadership to develop and drive the campaign strategy by managing the development of business proposals, strategic action plans, and roadmaps; providing insight on industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscapeCollaborating with cross-functional teams on brief development, email campaigns, writing, editing, and design and providing feedback as it relates to best practices. Ensuring business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing performance and effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach eventsQualifications include :
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, retail operations, or related field4 years' experience in marketing campaign management, corporate communications, public relations, or relevant areaDemonstrated knowledge of campaign planning with lead, pipeline, and revenue growthDemonstrated experience with demand generation methods for funnel creation, nurture strategies, and live / virtual eventsAnalytical and problem-solving skills including conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendationsOutstanding project management skills and ability to show ownership, appropriately prioritize, and meet deadlinesProven ability to build relationships quickly, influence without direct authority, and work collaboratively across functions with both peers and leadershipAbility to operate effectively and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environmentStrong creative thinking, originality, and experimentation skillsExcellent strategic problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to balance attention to detail with swift executionPreferred qualifications include :
