Position Overview :
- Seeking a qualified Business Analyst to support the Client.
- The analyst will collaborate with state employees to analyse workflows, enhance process efficiency, improve data accuracy, and ensure secure, high-quality operations.
- This hybrid position requires a local candidate capable of attending on-site meetings at least twice per week.
Key Responsibilities :
Process Analysis & Documentation :Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and document current workflows.Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned projects.Conduct gap analyses to identify internal control issues and recommend remediation strategies.Continuous Improvement Projects :Lead or support the execution of four major process improvement projects (two per Division).Prepare detailed project proposals, measurable objectives, and performance metrics.Deliver close-out reports analyzing project outcomes, risks, and recommendations for future improvements.Technical Coordination :Collaborate with COM technical staff to develop or enhance tools and workflows within existing systemsExcel, SharePoint, Power BI, ServiceNow, KAPS, and Revenue Premier.Support testing, quality assurance, and business process design during system migrations or updates.Training & Communication :Develop user documentation, job aids, and training materials to ensure consistent process adoption.Communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders, balancing technical and operational perspectives.Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in Business process analysis, documentation, or reengineering.Relevant experience in developing and implementing SOPs or process improvement initiatives.CBAP, PMI-PBA, CAPM, or an equivalent credential relevant to business / process analysis or project management.3+ years of experience managing projects or leading task execution in a public-sector or compliance-driven environment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and Power BI visualization.Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce actionable reports.Requirements
