Indiana Licensed Inpatient Coder

A company is looking for an RCS-IP Coding Expert to provide accurate clinical data for billing and reimbursement purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses and ICD-10-PCS procedures for all inpatient encounters

Validate DRG assignments and collaborate with CDI and Coding Quality teams to ensure compliant documentation

Maintain productivity and accuracy while staying updated with coding regulations and requirements

Required Qualifications

RHIT, RHIA, or CCS credentials are required

High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary

Ability to read, understand, and interpret medical records and treatment documentation

Requires strong analytical skills and the ability to establish collaborative working relationships

Must be able to work with and maintain confidential information
