Construction Project Supervisor / Estimator – Ventura & Santa Barbara Counties
Full-Time Opportunity
A well-established general contractor in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties is seeking an experienced Construction Project Supervisor / Estimator to oversee and deliver high-quality construction projects. The company’s work includes commercial builds, industrial developments, and high-end residential projects such as multi-million-dollar custom homes.
Responsibilities :
Supervise and evaluate subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and performance.
Develop and maintain project schedules using Smartsheet or similar software.
Monitor budgets, manage RFIs, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Prepare quantity surveys, assist in estimating, and contribute to accurate cost projections.
Coordinate and resolve issues with project stakeholders and subcontractors.
Oversee all phases of construction, from grading to final finishes.
Enforce safety standards, conduct weekly safety meetings, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Stay current on industry best practices and emerging construction standards.
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience as a superintendent or project supervisor in commercial or high-end residential construction.
(Multi-million-dollar custom homes or large apartment projects preferred; tract housing experience not applicable.)
Strong estimating knowledge; ability to review plans, perform take-offs, and understand cost centers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Procore, and Smartsheet.
Experienced in RFIs, Daily Reports, Submittals, and related construction documentation.
OSHA, First Aid, or CPR certifications preferred (training available).
Must reside in Ventura or Santa Barbara Counties with the ability to travel to multiple job sites.
