Job description

Job Title : Service Engineer 3

Location :  Remote ( preferred MST or PST candidates )

Salary Range :  $70 / hr to $75 / hr on W2

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, focused on ensuring operational excellence and reliability across our live site ecosystem. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining service health, improving incident hygiene, and identifying systemic issues to deliver a seamless experience for our customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Azure Data Explorer, and Power BI
  • 5 years of experience in Service Engineering, SRE, or incident management roles, with a solid Windows Systems Engineering and Administration backgroundStrong understanding of telemetry, operational intelligence, and incident lifecycle management
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and drive continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in creating dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Azure Data Explorer, or equivalent
  • Applicants must be able to work directly on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in facilitating and leading incident review meetings, executive briefings, and service reviews
  • Experience in coordinating and moderating retrospective review sessions
  • Experience in designing and maintaining dashboards for problem management metrics and service health KPIs
  • Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and lead incident reviews, executive briefings, and service reviews to assess service health and operational performance
  • Ensure consistent handoffs and metadata validation across shifts
  • Coordinate and moderate retrospective review sessions to ensure quality standards and promote knowledge sharing
  • Drive accountability for repair items and systemic issues through structured postmortem analysis
  • Collaborate with engineering leads to align retrospectives with organizational standards
