Company Description
About the Group
We are on a mission to provide world-class financial stewardship that enables Canva's crazy big goals. Within the Accounting Group, we ensure integrity in financial reporting, compliance with evolving global standards, and operational excellence across the organization.
We work closely with teams across Canva to deliver real business impact - from scaling our financial operations to embedding compliance frameworks that protect our Canvanauts, our investors, and our community. Together, we set the foundation for Canva's continued growth and global success.
About the Role
As SOX Manager, you'll be the second hire into our SOX team - a foundational leader helping us build and mature our compliance program. You'll work hands-on to guide Canva through the scoping, implementation, testing, and improvement of internal controls, while coaching cross-functional teams who may be experiencing SOX compliance for the first time.
You'll set phased milestones and lead external audit partners, ensuring Canva's compliance environment is both rigorous and practical. With exposure to leadership teams across Canva, this is a rare opportunity to shape a program from the ground up, influencing how Canva approaches compliance for years to come. As the function grows, this role will likely expand beyond SOX to include broader internal audit responsibilities, offering even greater scope to shape Canva's risk and control landscape.
